Volunteers are needed to fill the following positions
Board Position: President
We are looking for our next Edmonton Branch President!
This is a two-year term, and the role includes duties such as:
Act as the spokesperson of the Branch
Supervise the affairs of the Branch
Chairs & attend meetings of the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors & General Meetings
Chair the Annual General Meeting
Ex-officio and voting member of all Committees, except the Nominating Committee
Call special meetings of the Executive Committee as needed
Assume any duties as required by the Executive Committee or the Board of Directors
We are looking for family tree researchers who are willing to share their expertise with others!
Through in-branch and online webinars, the Edmonton Branch manages a calendar of educational courses to help genealogists improve their skills, find new resources and implement new strategies in their research.
