The Alberta Name Index (ANI) offers a simple unified search for Alberta residents named in various sources including Probates, Local Histories, Obituaries, Coroner Records, Land Records (not early homesteads), Newspapers and more. These indexes are the result of many years of volunteer labour, more genealogy indexes will be added online as they become available!

The search results will lead you directly to the information needed to locate the original records.

If your family lived in Alberta, this exciting resource may lead you to exciting family tree discoveries.
