Submissions for The Twig

Submission Requests

We would love to hear about your family and your experiences doing research.

All submissions should be a few short paragraphs and include a photo where applicable.

We accept submissions of the following:

A moment in Alberta's history or another location that your relative was part of.
Your experience of finding a record of your ancestor in our library holdings.
A quote related to genealogy that spoke to you. Please cite the author and source.
Ask a question about how to use a website or computer issue, and we will try to help.
Find a useful website, and share it.
Share a bit of genealogy humour in the form of cartoons, quizzes, riddles, puzzles, etc. Please cite the source if it is not your work.
Artists - share a work you created in celebration of your family. Send a jpeg.

The Editorial Committee has the final authority for acceptance of submitted material. We do not assume any responsibility for errors or opinions
on the part of the contributors.
