FamilySearch Affiliate Library
The Edmonton Branch library has become a FamilySearch Affiliate Library. This means that anyone accessing FamilySearch from the library will be able to access locked records that are usually only accessible at an LDS Family History Library. These records have a lock icon next to them.
Through our Tracing Your Family Tree (TYFT) program, knowledgeable instructors will point out the special skills and tools needed to assist you in your family history research.
For information regarding scheduled TYFT events, go to the Events page.
The Edmonton Branch AGS Research Services Team can assist with your Alberta family history research. Photocopying and postage costs may apply, and a contribution to the Branch for volunteer assistance would be appreciated.
The Edmonton Branch Library is staffed with volunteers that will try to assist you when you visit. This could include help with navigating the library catalogue, locating resource materials, assisting with searches on the local or subscription databases or suggesting other resources to aid in your research.
