Be Your Own Sherlock Watson, Photo Forensic Detective
with Art Taylor We’re living in what might be known as the ‘throw-away’ generation. Each day, thousands of photos are taken on cell phones, PDAs, and digital cameras. Many are never viewed and most are likely discarded shortly after taking, unless posted on social media sites. Many of our conventional film and paper images are vanishing due to poor storage conditions or lack of interest in unidentified photos. They are simply scrapped. What will be the future of your collection? Garbage, donation to a museum/historical society, heir? Will its value and information be retained for future viewers and generations? Learn how to date and identify your family photos as you were a photo forensic detective.
