Introduction to Genealogy and Family History

Have you ever wondered where your family came from? Who they were, what they did and how they came to be in Canada?

Do you want to learn how to answer these questions?

Our knowledgeable instructors will introduce you to the skills and tools needed to trace your family tree. This online course consists of eight live webinars of 75 minutes each. The webinars will not be recorded.

Although it is recommended that you take the entire series for the best learning outcome, we realize that not everyone can make that commitment. You will register and pay for each webinar individually. For those that take a minimum of six webinars, a free bonus session will be provided where you can get research help from the instructors.

The cost is $10 per webinar for Alberta Genealogy Society (AGS) members and $20 per webinar for non-members. For more information about AGS membership, visit here: https://www.abgenealogy.ca/become-a-member. Non-members, please read the special note on the registration page.

For more information on each session or to register and pay, visit the Events page of the Edmonton Branch website.
